TWO LAYER CHOCOLATE AND NUT CAKE

This cake has been used for many years in our family and is a great hit with freinds too. Choclate lovers heaven!
Layer 1
13 egg whites
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1 lb ground hazelnuts
Beat the whites with the sugar until stiff, fold in hazelnuts. Bake on medium heat for 20 mins or until through.
Layer 2
13 egg yolks
1 glass of sugar
2 vanilla sugers
1/2 lb of margerine
1 1/2 lb of choclate
1 tbls of coffee melted with a drop of hot water
Melt the choc and margerine set aside. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and when the choc mix is cool add to the other mixture.
Pour the choc batter on top of the other mixture and bake a further 30 mins on medium heat or until throgh.
Yeilds: 1 big square.
