The Legend of the Southwest broadcasts from Israel
Larry Ahrens is Albuquerque's morning radio legend with nearly 21 years hosting mornings on 770 KKOB.
Heard each weekday morning Larry and the rest of KKOB's Morning Team provide a "wake up call" to all of New Mexico. Larry was twice named "Radio Personality of the Year" and New Mexico's "Top 100 Powerbroker's" in New Mexico Business Weekly.
He enjoys the occasional round of golf and is currently involved in a writing project. Larry is the father of twins - son Ryan is married, living in Dallas, and daughter Whitney is in Albuquerque.
