Kent Pavelka has spent his entire broadcast career entertaining and informing Nebraskans. He is best known as "Voice-of-the Huskers." Kent brought Univeristy of Nebraska football and basketball play-by-play to life for hundreds of thousands of Nebraskans on the radio for over two decades. His enthusiastic style has also been a favorite staple of Omaha early morning radio which he is now bringing to 1290 KKAR. Kent is a Lincoln native. He is a graduate of UNL. He and his wife, Lu have two grown children and have been active in various civic activities over the years. If Kent weren't so happy broadcasting...he would be fishing.
