Batchelor and Alexander in Israel

John Batchelor and Paul Alexander

John Batchelor and Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Paul Vallely

John Batchelor and Paul Alexander have been a huge hit on WABC radio, a New York City talk radio bastion, since the terror attacks on the Twin Towers last year. Their off-the-wall style has gathered them a large audience nightly on the 50,000-watt clear channel station.

Batchelor has published seven political novels as well as the best known history of the Republican Party, "Ain't You Glad You Joined the Republicans?" Alexander's magazine profile of then-Texas Gov. George W. Bush was used as "opposition research" by Al Gore's campaign.

In the last few years, they flew from one end of the US to the other to interview people who became dignitaries in the Bush administration. Now these people, as well as other prominent US political figures, are fixtures on their show.

Their rising popularity was captured recently in a feature article in The New York Times.

Batchelor returns to Israel for a third time in less than a year, the week of Feb.18-22 2003 at the invitation of America's Voices in Israel. Their show is being broadcast live on WABC (770 AM in New York City) from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern time, as usual, with guests and interview subjects in the studios of the Jerusalem Post, as well as in the U.S
