The gruesome mid-October lynching of two Israeli reserve soldiers captured on the outskirts of Ramallah provided the world with another shocking set of images that came to signify the new Intifada. The reservists - Yosef Avrahmi and Vadin Novesche - were savagely beaten in a Palestinian police station before being hurled out of a window to a blodthirsty mob. |
