30. Mercury Rev
Retro band Mercury Rev swung by the new Zenith Alternative Rock Festival in Tel Aviv. Jonathan Donahue, Mercury Rev's main vocalist and songwriter, said the band has been begging its manager for the last 15 years to find it a gig in Israel. The band is considered fringe back in the US, and Donahue praised Israelis for being "a lot more courageous and willing to listen to newer music."
