46. Donald Harrison
Renowned New Orleans-born jazz saxophonist Donald "Duck" Harrison came
to Israel for his second visit this year, after a successful foray in 1998.
"I learned that Israel has a lot of people who really love jazz music and a
lot of musicians who are serious about learning how to play it. It was a
great experience," he said. "Israelis are really serious about their music,
and anyone who is serious about music is A-1 in my book."
