In Israel's 52nd year, the rich, famous, and obscure came to visit. Here are our 52 top distinguished tourists

26. Michael HarPaz
Call it the return of the prodigal boy bandmate. HarPaz came in 1997 from the US, son of an Israeli father and American mother. Within a year, he was cast in the hit boy band Hfive, exploded to the top of the charts with three gold records, and became so famous that he could no longer walk through the streets without being mobbed by young female fans. But his heart was back home in Detroit, and last year he had a gala farewell and hopped a plane. In February, he came back to Israel to perform in the Hfive farewell concert, when the band broke up for good.
