They came, they swam, they left
In Israel's 52nd year, the rich, famous, and obscure came to visit. Here
are our 52 top distinguished tourists
31. Frank S. de Grave
Dutch Minister of Defense Frank S. de Grave's visit was an opportunity
for the Rafael defense equipment company to show off its Gill anti-tank
missile which was in competition with an American one for a lucrative deal
to supply the missiles to the Dutch army. Though an official reception at
the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv was held along with consultations with
Prime Minister Ehud Barak, his visit was quiet and low-key.
