10. Roberto Benigni
He picked up three Oscars and every other possible award the year before for his international blockbuster film Life Is Beautiful, and even visited Jerusalem for the film festival. This year, effusive Italian actor/director Benigni headed south and received an honorary degree from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
