In Israel's 52nd year, the rich, famous, and obscure came to visit. Here

2. Dr. Robert Ballard
Most three-week visits to Israel don't cost a million dollars, but
then again, famed ocean explorer Ballard (he's the guy who found the wreck
of the Titanic) wasn't on a typical sight-seeing tour. In fact, for most of
his stay he was underwater. The money was well-spent. Ballard discovered
the world's oldest known shipwrecks: a completely preserved pair of
Phoenician cargo ships from 750 BCE buried 500 meters deep.
