13. King Abdullah II
Some thought it was too little, too late, but finally, in April, King Abdullah II of Jordan stepped across the border and visited with Prime Minister Ehud Barak on Israeli soil - an Eilat fish farm, to be precise. The visit took place more than a year after he was crowned king, and after the monarch had postponed his trip several times. Some of Barak's ministers wished Abdullah would make more of an effort - like visit Jerusalem, perhaps.
