| Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies | |
| Purpose | For over 25 years, Pardes has fine-tuned an approach to the rigorous study of classical Jewish texts pursued for its own sake. The Pardes program has been developed to transmit enthusiasm for Jewish spirituality along with the skills to continue studying Jewish sources independently. |
| Description | Pardes has learned that the traditional format of havruta (paired study) within the beit midrash is ideally suited for fostering discovery and stimulation, as students from diverse educational and religious backgrounds apply themselves to classical sources, some for the first time. Lecture and workshop formats are also utilized to focus on specific issues and topics. |
| Implementors | Pardes has an internationally recognized teaching staff, that includes men and women Torah scholars. |
