NISHMAT The Jerusalem Center for Advanced Jewish Study for Women
Purpose	To enable motivated women to study Torah from original texts in a manner appropriate to their intelligence, creativity and individuality while growing in spirit, ethical behavior and mitzvot.
Description	A learning center for women; Beit Midrash atmosphere. Students prepare for class with a chavruta partner and engage in dynamic, inspiring shiurim (lessons) with outstanding teachers.
Implementors	Rabbanit Chana Henkin, Founder and Dean; Rav Zvi Blobstein, Assistant Dean; scholarly, diverse and distinguished faculty.
Target Group	Women college-age and above.
Courses	Courses are offered in Tanach, Gemara, Philosophy, Prayer, Halacha, Chassidut and more; English and Hebrew; All levels.
No. of Participants	300 women per year
Duration of Activity	Year-long and summer programs; full-time and part-time.
