| Purpose | To offer an integrated experience of Jewish lifestyle activities and Jewish mysticism. |
| Description | A year-round combination recreation center, Jewish youth hostel, and religious retreat. The program includes everything from nature hikes to a dip into genuine Kabbalistic studies, learning from original source material. |
| Implementors | An experienced friendly English-speaking staff, mostly olim from USA. |
| Target Group | Jews aged 18-120, primarily with limited or no Jewish educational background. |
| Courses | Daily Classes; Weekly Shabbatons that include home hospitality; Monthly Seminars; Tours and Hikes |
| No. of Participants | 1-70. More than 7000 visitors annually pass through ASCENT's doors , while 15,000 others receive ASCENT's periodic print and e-mail publications. |

| Location of Activity | In a clean, safe, remodelled hotel/hostel in the picturesque Old City of Zefat.with 85 beds, three levels of porches and breathtaking views of Mt. Meron and the rolling hills of the Galilee, and a cutting-edge library/media center. |
