Kraft Family Stadium
Back
THE NEW AMERICAN SPORTS CENTER IN JERUSALEM
In January 2000 the Kraft Family Stadium in Jerusalem was officially opened. The land for the outdoor playing field was donated by the City of Jerusalem and was constructed thanks to a $210,000 donation from Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots.

ATFI The 4-acre site in Jerusalem (Ben Tzvi Blvd. At the northern end of Sacher Park) has been turned into a beautiful grass-covered football and baseball field, the first of its kind in the Israeli capital. It has lights for night games and bleachers which can accommodate about 300 fans.

Kraft Family Stadium is the new home of American Touch Football in Israel (ATFI), a 33-team league with more than 500 players, which recently held it's 11th annual Holyland Bowl Championship game attracting a large crowd.

Several hundred children use the field for youth baseball in Jerusalem, and groups of will host hundreds of other children and adults use the facility for playing softball, rugby and soccer in the city which suffers a dire lack of proper playing fields.

ATFI Maintaining the facility and developing programs at Kraft Family Stadium is a costly endeavor. The ATFI (a registered non-profit association) is solely responsible for administration of the facility, and must raise funds to allow the project to thrive. That's why we appeal to those of you who love sports and love Jerusalem to help us.

The centerpiece of the stadium is Founders Wall. Located at the main entrance to the park, the wall will contain prominent plaques from those contributing at least $5000 to the project. A wall on the opposite site of the entrance is Friends Wall which will contain smaller plaques for those contributing a minimum of $1000. Contributions to both walls are made through the Jerusalem Foundation which provides documentation for U.S. tax deductions.

ATFI All persons contributing at least $100 will receive a Kraft Family Stadium t-shirt and a subscription to our quarterly newspaper 'Touchdown.'
