How Israel fared on Friday

The final Israeli competitors, Lior Carmi and Dani Krasnov, were both eliminated from medal contention on Friday.

Carmi finished seventh out of eight in her semifinal heat in the 500-meter kayak race.

Krasnov finished 12th in the pole vault finals. He failed in three attempts to clear 5.70m after successfully vaulting 5.40m and 5.60m, each in his first attempt.
